A new app to help "Win Friends and Influence People"	"Remember that a person's name is, to that person, the sweetest and most important sound in any language." Dale Carnegie published his blockbuster "How to Win Friends and Influence People," in 1936. He highlighted remembering names as one of the 6 ways to make people like you - a skill vital to both your personal and business life. Namerick captures some of Dale's old-time wisdom with the use of new technology. Scotty, Founder: " Dale's teachings had a profound impact on my entrepreneurial life. Namerick uses US Census data to autopopulate the name entry field meaning entering a name often takes just getting the first letter correct. We've already had a number of pre-launch requests from China - future adoption in Asia shows great promise. What is Namerick?

Namerick is an iPhone app that improves your memory of people’s names using repetition and mnemonics modeled from memory 'athletes' and studies of the human memory.

How does the app work?

Namerick helps you with the “three R’s of memory” - Hover or tap for enlarged screenshots

Record - Lightning fast name entry (with autocomplete) Add notes, categories (Work, Friend, Family, Crush!) and future plans (Like emailing, facebooking, or doing lunch) - Also generate a mnemonic namerick for an additional memory boost

Retain - Secure storage of new names, text messages (push) with helpful reminders at psychologist tested time intervals for maximum retention - Location for additional memory assist

Retrieve - Search by name or any keyword in the notes field, sort names by category and future plans - Click to view and edit details

How fast is Namerick?

We built the Namerick with speed in mind. Sometimes we have only seconds to enter a name. Namerick uses US Census data to autocomplete the name you're typing. Our users averaged less than 5 seconds to get a new name entered into Namerick.

Is there anything like this out there?

There are a few other competitors that have attempted to solve the same problem. Let’s be honest.. it’s a BIG one!

How much will Namerick cost?

Namerick is a ‘first page’ utility that has already shown to improve people’s memory of names and personal facts. Though user surveys indicated a price point of $4.99 to be fair, we chose to make it even more affordable for all those that are bad with names - FREE.

Why not just use address book?

Ever add someone's name and number to your address book and then forget who they are 2 weeks later? It happened to 90% of the people we asked. Your address book isn't searchable by keywords and doesn't provide categories to sort names. Namerick provides a bridge between getting to know someone and the other forms in which we communicate.
